Why You Should Attend
Even though statistically you may feel that this
crime is not a problem in your own particular
area, the truth is that the actual incidents are
likely to be at least 10 times higher than those
reported.
Section 17 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998,
details that social housing providers have a duty
of care towards the safety and welfare of residents,
and that they must be seen to be taking the necessary
actions to ensure residents safety and security.
This training will give your organisation the
tools to develop a distraction burglary strategy
to reduce crime against older people, reduce peoples
fear of crime, visibly reduce bogus caller crime
and revitalise a local community.
